Alzu Petroport 4
Otprilike na pola puta Johanezburg – Mbombela, nalazi se Alzu Petroport 4; benzinsak pumpa, restorani, kafei, samoposluge, prodavnica suvenira i svi prateci sadrzaji da omoguce putnicima prijatan boravak. Jedna stvar iz izdvaja od stotine slicnih stjalaista a to je hranjenje divljih zivotinja. Svaki dan oko podne, tu dolaze na rucak zebre, nosorizi, vodena bufala, razne vrste antilopa...Pravi mali safari. Kazu da hranu zivotinjama volonterski dobavljaju i placaju prisutni biznisi.
Ovuda vredi proci u to vreme. Ja sam prvi put prosao oko 10:00h pre podne i bile su samo antilope izlezavale se u hladu pored malog jezerca.
Alzu Petroport 4
Approximately halfway between Johannesburg and Mbombela, there is Alzu Petroport 4; a gas station, restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, a souvenir shop, and all the accompanying amenities to ensure travellers have a pleasant stay. One thing that sets it apart from hundreds of similar establishments is the feeding of wild animals. Every day around noon, zebras, rhinoceroses, water buffalos, and various species of antelopes come for lunch... A real little safari. They say that the food for the animals is supplied and paid for by the businesses present, voluntarily. It's worth passing through at that time. I first passed by around 10:00 AM and there were only antelopes lounging in the shade by a small pond.
Muluwa Lodge
Perfektno mesto za boravak.
Hotelski kompleks obuhvata veliki prostor. U centru je recepcija sa restoranom, bazenom, barom... Izgleda kao da nema gosituju. Stvar je u tome sto su gosti u toku dana uglavnom na safariju. Sem toga, sobe/bungalovi/vile su razbacani po kompleksu na otprilike 100-200 matara od restorana. Sve su okruzene zelenilom i – tisinom. Po kompleksu slobodno setaju atnitlope, zirafe, ostridzi...
Osoblje je izuzetno prijateljski raspolozeno i efikasno. Uvek spremno da pomogne. Hrana je izvrsna.
Postoje i dodatni servisi da omoguce prijatan boravak kao recimo sauna, masaza i sl. Mi to nismo koristili ali prijatelji koji jesu, izuzetno su zadovoljni.
Tokom celog dana a i nocu, tu je mir, tisina i samo se cuje crvkut ptica.
Nasa vila je bila prakticno samo jedna odgromna prostorija, spavaca soba sa staklienim zidom i velikim kliznim vratima peko kojih se izlazilo na ogromnu terasu orijentisanu na istok. Krevet je isto tako postavljen da je orijentisan na istok i budjenje je uz izlazak sunca.
Sve u svemu, izuzetan dozivljaj i boravak.
Mulawa Lodge
A Perfect place for a stay. The hotel complex encompasses a large space. In the centre, there is a reception with a restaurant, pool, bar... It seems like there are no guests. The thing is that guests are mostly on safari during the day. Besides that, the rooms/bungalows/villas are scattered throughout the complex about 100-200 meters from the restaurant. They are all surrounded by greenery and - silence. Antelopes, giraffes, and ostriches roam freely around the complex...
The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. Always ready to help. The food is excellent. There are also additional services to ensure a pleasant stay, like a sauna, massage, etc. We didn't use them, but friends who did are extremely satisfied. Throughout the day and even at night, there is peace, quiet, and only the chirping of birds can be heard.
Nasa villa was practically just one massive room, a bedroom with a glass wall and large sliding doors leading out to a huge terrace facing East. The bed was also oriented to the east, and waking up was with the sunrise.
All in all, an exceptional experience and stay.
Naselja na putu za Kruger
Na putu za Kruger, prolazimo kroz vrlo interesantna naselja. Teren je uglavnom brdovit. Pored puta, kao pojedinacni objekti se redjaju “supermarketi”, prodavnice, “frizerski saloni”, “biznis centri”...Objekti su uglavnom manji, reklo bo se samo po jednom prostorijim ali vrlo zivopisno obojeni u belo, zuto, crveno, plavo...
Sve odise jednostavnoscu i lezernoscu.
Villages on the way to Kruger
On the way to Kruger, we pass through very interesting settlements. The terrain is mostly hilly. Along the road, individual buildings are lined up such as 'supermarkets,' shops, 'hair salons,' 'business centers'... The buildings are mostly smaller, it could be said they have only one room, but they are very vividly painted in white, yellow, red, blue... Everything exudes simplicity and relaxation.
Boziji prozor
Božije prozor se zove po panoramskom pogledu na Lowveld, koji se proteže više od 900 m u duboki, bujni šumski kanjon. Impresivne litice se obrušavaju više od 700 metara ka Lowveldu i privatnim rezervatima divljih životinja koji su ovu oblast učinili jednim od glavnih destinacija za divlje životinje u Južnoj Africi.
God’s Window
Gods Window is so called for the panoramic view of the Lowveld more than 900 m down into lush indigenous forest clad ravine. The majestic cliffs plunge over 700 meters to the Lowveld and the private game reserves which have made the area one of South Africa's main wildlife destinations.
Graskop klanac
Ovaj klanac je dublji od 50 metara i zauzima ga prelepa afromontanska šuma. Ove šume su prirodno stanište za široku paletu biljnih i životinjskih vrsta, uključujući živopisno obojenu Knysna loeriju (ili turaco).
Tu je prilagođen lift za razgledanje koji može da primi 26 putnika. Putuje 51m niz liticu u hladnu planinsku šumu ispod.
Platforma pored lifta je takođe dizajnirana za bandzi skakanje.
Graskop Gorge
This gorge is more than 50 metres deep and is occupied by exquisite Afromontane forests. These forests are the natural habitat of choice for a massive variety of plant and animal species, which include the vividly-coloured Knysna loerie (or turaco).
There is a custom-designed 26-passenger viewing elevator. It travels 51m down the cliff face into the mountain forest below.
The platform next to the elevator is designed also for bangy jumping.
Tri sestre
Tri sestre su značajna zemljana forma u Severnom Kapeu, pored autoputa N1.
Ova geografska karakteristika obuhvata tri gotovo identična brda, lokalno poznata kao "koppies", koja su prekrivena doleritskom stenom.
